Product walkthrough

How it comes together.

A support centre that brings knowledge, guided assistance and a human handoff into one navigable experience.

KAKR Support is the help experience for the KAKR and PTERI ecosystem, and I built the full system. The public interface provides a searchable knowledge base, Kai assistance, developer resources, system-status links and a ticket route. Behind it sits a support ticketing system with an admin panel, where the team replies to tickets, sends real email updates and marks tickets as done. Kai, the AI assistant, is built on the Claude API.

Offer more than one way to find an answer

The support homepage places search alongside entry points for the knowledge base, Kai and ticket submission. Visitors can therefore start with a specific question, browse published guidance or look for a support conversation.

The design consideration is different for each route. Search depends on the terms a person already knows; browsing helps when they do not know what to ask; a conversation gives them another way to explain the issue. A useful support page makes these options easy to distinguish.

Connect tasks with topics

The homepage includes task-oriented links for authentication, API integration, account recovery and other common needs, alongside topic-based navigation. This provides a direct route into the content without requiring every visitor to understand the full product taxonomy.

For a technical product, the words used in navigation matter. A developer investigating an API problem and an account holder trying to recover access bring different context to the same support site. Clear task language can guide both without making the homepage a complete documentation index.

Give the knowledge base a clear structure

The knowledge-base page groups guidance into areas such as getting started, wallet use, plans, developer integration and troubleshooting. It also links to developer documentation and service status. These are distinct information destinations with different depths of detail.

A support-content plan should make the relationship between short answers, procedural guides and technical reference material explicit. That gives editors a place for new content and gives readers a clearer sense of where to go next.

Make the handoff understandable

The ticket page explains what information to include about an issue and how replies are linked to an account. It also points visitors back to the knowledge base and AI assistance.

For this type of flow, the important interface questions include what the user needs to provide, how they will hear back and where they can find an existing conversation. A clear handoff should help the person understand the next step without having to interpret internal support processes.
